MANDATE
The Surveyors’ Registration Board mandate is to regulate and control the profession of surveyors and the activities of registered surveyors within Uganda and advise the Government in relation to those functions.
SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE BOARD
Search and verify who a qualified surveyor is.
Receive and handle complaints from the public against surveyors if any.
Mediate disputes between members of the public and registered surveyors.
Sensitizing the public about the need to engage qualified surveyors.
Functions of the board
The functions of the board shall be to regulate and control the profession of surveyors and the activities of registered surveyors within Uganda, and to advise the Government in relation to those functions.
It has wide-ranging powers to register, deregister, restore registration, suspend registration, hold inquiries, hear appeals and appear as respondents in a case brought against it in the High Court
